Kicking off 2010 I was in excruciating pain.  The 3" Steve Madden black studded booties I wore got the best of me. For the average heel obsessed female that height is a cake walk, but the arch of a bootie makes them killer in more ways than one.  My yearly horoscope forecasted that the first days of the new year will set the pace for what's to come so I wore them again. This time it wasn't so bad.  I got to thinking that all the trouble would be worth it for a pair of red Christian Louboutions ($700).
