I recently purchased a vintage sequin butterfly top at Artist + Fleas in Williamsburg.  It's so authentic and heavy with thin shoulder pads that make it a total throwback.  After browsing my closet I found more and more sequin pieces.  The black H&M sequin mini skirt to the black and white #5 sequin jersey top from Saks.  I was trending without even trying.  For people who love sequins as much as I do get a copy of the February Allure with cover girl Beyonce decked head to toe.

I was browsing the beer section at my local grocery store in Brooklyn and was shocked to find Ed Hardy Beer.  The company that successfully polluted the fashion industry is continuing its legacy (or lack there of) with liquor.  People can argue that the company is a great economic stimulator in trying times but it seems so wrong to me.  I think that Ed Hardy practices strategic sell out marketing and branding tactics that need to be stopped.  Lets join forces and end this Ed Hardy takeover once and for all.  PLEASEEE.

Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Natalia Vodianova have an interesting spread in the February 2010 issue of VOGUE.  It's hard not to like to work of legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz but this editorial gave me mixed emotions at first.  On the other hand I couldn't take my eyes off of it.  It's unpredictable with great fashion and strong concept that will give the sometimes boring magazine a buzz in the fashion industry.
